About The ED Ring Guide

Published by FirmTech Last updated: November 2026

The ED Ring Guide is published by FirmTech, the company that makes the TechRing, Performance Ring and MaxPR.

It exists to help men choose an erection ring: compare use cases and sizing, understand prices, and learn how to pay with HSA or FSA funds. It is one of a small number of websites FirmTech publishes. FirmTech's main website is getfirmtech.com.

Who publishes this site?

FirmTech publishes and writes everything here. Because FirmTech sells the rings this guide covers, it is not an independent review site, and we say so on every guide and ranking page.

What does FirmTech do?

FirmTech sells doctor-designed erection rings directly to men seeking firmer, longer-lasting erections, including men interested in tracking their sexual health. Its main offer, described as "Smart tech for your manhood," is the TechRing, which supports firmer erections and measures erection firmness, quality and duration, with nighttime tracking and app insights, for $275. The Performance Ring and MaxPR offer erection support without tracking for $60 each.

The rings are designed with urologists and use an anatomical peno-scrotal fit. FirmTech was founded by Elliot Justin, MD, FACEP, an emergency physician, and its medical advisory board includes urologists from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Prime Institute and University of Utah Health. FirmTech sells online nationwide.

Why does this guide exist?

Men researching rings ask the same practical questions: do they work, what size do I need, what does it cost, and is it safe. This guide answers them in plain language, cites outside sources where it uses their numbers, and explains how we form our recommendations on the methodology page.
